Turkey and 0º Libra

The zero degree of cardinal signs (Aries - spring, East, Cancer – summer, North, Libra - autumn,  West and Capricorn - winter, South) is very abrupt nature, just like the beginning of each season ... Here  things abruptly start, but as suddenly comes to a breakup of action. As each 0º cardinal signs is in semisquare (45º) with the so-called. "Avatar degees", 15º fixed signs (Taurus 15º, 15º Leo,  15º Scorpio, 15º Aquarius), we can conclude that the position of a country on one of the 0º  cardinal signs brings a lot of instability. At the same time, each 0º cardinal sign leaves behind 29º of variable sign (29º Aries,  29º Gemini, 29º Virgo,  29º Sagittaurus). The last degree (29º) often point to some form of end (29º - end) while the variable signs indicate that this stuff was not stable enough, and that change is possible ...

In this article I want to talk about the country which is located at the crossroads of Europe (West) and Asia (East), about the country of great geostrategic importance, about  the country that is traditionally associated with the sign of Virgo, which (from the perspective of degrees) within the Zodiac " vibrates"at the turn of 29º Virgo to 0º Libra - about Turkey! If we look at Zodiac from  the perspective of East-West, North-South, then we should certainly say that at 0º Libra begins the West, just as it is across, at 0º Aries - East, and that on the 29º Virgo we can have a picture of  crossing to the West.

"Father of Turkey"

 The forerunner of the modern, present Turkey, was the Ottoman Empire which was born after the  World War I. Turkish War of Independence (1919-1922) was leaded by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and as the result was a rise of the modern Republic of Turkey on October 29th 1923, with Atatürk as its first president. It was a new, democratic, secular republic, oriented towards the West, which is demoralized Turkish people regain faith in a better tomorrow. This man has brought the country to a major reforms. His vision and charizma inspire Turkey today. And today we can use his natal (the forecasting technique) and thus get messages from the Universe.

 If we look at the Solar Arc direction of  this man for the moment when the Republic of Turkey was established, then we find the position of the Moon on 29º 00 ' Virgo, and MC at 0 ° Libra 09'!

His last Moon conjunction (memory that soul carries from the past life)  is with Pluto (unconscious planet) which is on Algol, from the constellation Perseus, and this is the image of a soldier who was fighting somewhere for his "own justice". Dispositor of Pluto is Venus conjuncts Neptune (subconscious planet), in square with Mars (unconscious planet) and is more than obvious that this man in the previous incarnation did not act consciously. However, it is interesting that the first Moon conjunction of this man (it talks about what he's going to in this life),  is exactly Uranus (revolution, reform) which is in a mental Virgo, very close to the degree of exaltation of Mercury  (conscious planet), and which is over dispositor, Mercury in Pisces, in conjunction with the Sun (conscious planet), and Ataturk  now, in this incarnation, had the opportunity to become aware and some past life  patterns would not repeat ...

Horoscope of the Republic of Turkey

The Republic of Turkey has in its horoscope Ascendant (the capital city, the situation in the country) on  7º Cancer 47’, while the ruler of this horoscope, Moon,  is positioned precisely on 29º variable sign of Gemini! How is a series of historical Uranus-Pluto square started in June 2012 with 8º cardinal signs, it is certain that Turkey has entered into some kind of radical change. It was preceded by the famous "Millennium lunar eclipse" on 21st December 2010 (which is officially the beginning of 2011, the winter solstice), just on 29º Gemini (what activated the Moon-people, from the chart of Turkey), when our planet was aligned with the galactic equator. It was definitely an unusual alignment, because not only the Sun,  even the Moon and Earth were aligned, but it was across of the Center of the Galaxy.

If we again turn to the karmic astrology then we can find, that on 29º Gemini in Draconic chart (lunar horoscope talking about memories of our Soul), Ataturk, founder of modern Turkey,  has the Sun.  This man, quite obviously, has some kind of  memory here ...,  and the position of the South Node is on 29º Virgo! Also, Dwadasamsa chart (horoscope of past life) confirms the importance of this man for Turkey. Specifically, all houses are on 29º (characteristic of Dwadasamsa chart that all houses are always at the same degree), provided, however, that the top of 8th house (wars, suffering, death ...) is just on  29º Virgo!

  A year later, on 21st December 2011 (when  2012 officially began), one of the royal stars, Regulus, came to 0º Virgo, the Sun was (as every year, on 21st December) across the Moon of Turkey, therefore, on 29º Sagittarius, and in June 2012 (as I have already pointed out) the first Uranus Pluto square-started a series of these historical squares that will have their epilogue on March 17th, 2015. Shortly after the last, seventh Uranus-Pluto square,on  March 20th, 2015, there will be a Solar Eclipse on 29º Pisces (the last degree of variable sign) that will activate (by square)  the Moon from horoscope of Turkey, and (by opposition) crossing from  29º Virgo to 0º  Libra, passing within the Zodiac to the degree where Turkey as a country is "sensitive".

Let us now see the secondary progressions of Turkey for the first day of Uranus-Pluto square  (over 8º Aries / 8º Capricorne) that activated the Ascendant of this country, on June 24th, 2012. We  find  a secondary position of the Moon (ruler of the natal Ascendant and essential significator for the people in a horoscope of the country) on 28º Virgo 55 '(which is really in close conjunction to 29º Virgo), while the Solar Arc Moon was positioned just on  29º 49' Virgo! At this point, the Solar Arc of 1/7 axis was on 7º Libra / Aries 41 'in almost exact square to 1/7 axis in natal horoscope of Turkey (7º Cancer / Capricorn 47'), which really emphasizes the opening of a very turbulent period for this country. Finally, I launched  Mars (a significator essential for conflicts of horoscope of Turkey)  on 7º 24 ' Libra!

Turkey and the European Union

On 21st June 2001, there was a Solar Eclipse (new beginning) at 0° Cancer, which certainly "awakened"  0º Libra (Turkey). In the years ahead, more precisely, on March 14th 2003, Prime Minister of Turkey became a man who in his horoscope has a midpoint of the Mars (war, conflict, unrest) and Uranus (revolution, changes) on 29º Virgo, while his midpoint of the Moon (people) and the North Node (future) and the Mars (war, conflict, unrest) is - on 0 ° Capricorn! Everything here is very "tense" and very sudden and unstable.

Of course, this is a Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a man who was - since August 2014 - the President of Turkey. During his premiership, on October 03rd 2005, Turkey has officially begun negotiations with the European Union for membership with a lot of enthusiasm, but even today, after almost 10 years, Turkey has not moved from the beginning. And recently European Union is justifiably concerned about national legislation changes that Erdogan introduces, like a partial or even complete alcoholm prohibition, calls into question the secularity of the country ... Many EU leaders accuse him of gradual Islamisation of the country and the erosion of human rights and emphasized that Turkey seems "slipping "to  autocracy! On the other hand, Russia and President Putin disagree with  support that the Turkish regime gives to Syrian  separatists ...

It is important to note that Erdogan is the first Turkish President who is elected directly in elections, by the people, not by parliament as it was starting from 1923, which is certainly an important precedent in the history of Turkey.

Solar Arc Ascendant of Turkey for the moment when the negotiations with the EU begun (03rd October 2005) was on 0 ° Libra which is the image of the West! Also interesting is the position of the top of the 3rd house (negotiations, neighbors, decision) of the horoscope of the European Union. It's all on 0º Libra! But how is all preceded by a solar eclipse on 0º Cancer (squaring 0º Libra), Turkey could hardly fulfill all the necessary requirements for admission to full membership. The square is always a sign that things can’t be brought to an end,  initiation of action is inevitable, because it is the nature of the square, but things are still here interrupted halfway ...

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

Let us now about the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. It is  an internationally unrecognized state that occupies 1/3 of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. The only country that has officially recognized the state of Northern Cyprus is Turkey. The problem of the status of these territories is a major stumbling block with the European Union, Greece and Cyprus on one side and Turkey on the other side. On this island, the Turkish army has been present since 1974, and on November 15th 1983 the establishment of the republic has happened.

Let us now see the position of the secondary Ascendent of Cyprus for that moment. It is in exact conjunction with the Ascendant of Turkey, while the Solar Arc Venus of Cyprus (natal Venus in the 4th house - the territory) came just on 0 ° Libra (the degree on which Turkey is as country "sensitive"), and all of this was the image of Turkey on the territory of Cyprus!

Taksim

What makes the largest city in Turkey, Istanbul, well known, is certainly famous Taksim. This is a market where traditionally people gather to celebrate Republic Day, New Years Eve, but also the  citizens' protests happens there. At Taksim, there is the national monument Cumhuriyet Anita made in 1928 to celebrate the creation of the Republic of Turkey, Ataturk Cultural Centre and opera. Taksim is the "heart of Istanbul."

Last year, on  28th  May 2013., protests erupted in Istanbul, Taksim appeared in the headline news all around the world. Solar Arc Moon of Turkey has just been positioned on 0 ° Libra!

29 º Pisces

What is ahead of us, as I have already mentioned at the beginning, is the Solar Eclipse on 29º Pisces (March 20th, 2015), which will touch the Moon on 29º Gemini  from Turkey horsocope (by square), and crossing from  29º Virgo to 0º Libra (by opposition), and it remains to see in which direction the further Islamization of Turkey will go... Considering the disfunctional aspects we suspect that it will be a lot of obstacles and rebellion and that all the ideas and goals of the ruling regime in Turkey will not be so easily achieved. The resistance is quite certain.

Conservative (29 º Virgo) and modern Turkey (0º Libra)

We can expect ​​that Turkey will always be a "buferr zone" because it is a story about  0 º  of cardinal sign, in this case 0 ° Libra. This is a place in the Zodiac, which symbolizes the West, but here everything is very unstable. This country, once is suddenly moving to the West, but at also suddenly makes a real step backwards on 29º Virgo, to the degree which is known for some people who can "seeing" something. Isn’t it just 29º Virgo  pictures of  old Turkey, the image of the Ottoman Empire which was known by women who are looking into a cup of coffee?!

So, in the end we can say that crossing from  29º Virgo to 0º Libra it is actually the picture of old conservative Turkey and Turkey's image which tends West. It seems that these two polarities still dominate Turkey and it will  be difficult to fully establish either only conservative country or just a modern state. Remains to be seen ...
