The Nord Stream 1 pipeline stretches 1,200km (745 miles) under the Baltic Sea from the Russian coast near St Petersburg to north-eastern Germany. It opened in 2011 (8th November), and can send a maximum of 170m cubic metres of gas per day from Russia to Germany. It is owned and operated by Nord Stream AG, whose majority shareholder is the Russian state-owned company Gazprom. Germany had also previously approved the construction of a parallel pipeline - Nord Stream 2 - but the project was halted after Russia invaded Ukraine (24th February 2022).
How has Russia cut supplies?
In May, Gazprom closed the Yamal gas pipeline, which runs through Belarus and Poland and delivers gas to Germany and other European nations.
In June, Gazprom cut gas deliveries through Nord Stream 1 by 75% - from 170m cubic metres of gas a day to roughly 40m cubic metres.
Then, in July, it shut down Nord Stream 1 for 10 days, citing the need for maintenance.
Shortly after reopening, Gazprom halved the amount supplied to 20m cubic metres because of what it called faulty equipment.
Now it has completely halted all gas supplies to Europe through the pipeline, again claiming repairs were needed.
In August, Germany's Economy Minister Robert Habeck denied there were any technical issues and said the pipeline was fully operational.
But Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman insisted that Western sanctions have caused the interruptions by damaging Russian infrastructure.
Gazprom also said it would suspend gas deliveries to the French energy company Engie.
On Friday 2nd September 2022, Russian state energy giant Gazprom said it would not resume flows through the pipeline on Saturday as planned because it had detected an oil leak at its Portovaya compressor station. The pipeline has been shut since Wednesday 31st August 2022 for maintenance.
It didn't give a timeline of when exports might resume.
Russia won't immediately resume exports of natural gas to Europe through its Nord Stream 1 pipeline, worsening a shortage that threatens to tip the continent into an energy crisis this winter.
"Until the issues on the operation of the equipment are resolved, gas supplies to the Nord Stream gas pipeline have been completely stopped," Gazprom said in a statement.
The Nord Stream 1 pipeline is a key artery carrying Russia's vast gas supplies to Europe, accounting for about 35% of Europe's total Russian gas imports last year.
It has also cut off supplies to several "unfriendly" European countries and energy companies over their refusal to pay for gas in rubles, as the Kremlin insists, rather than the euros or dollars stated in contracts. European leaders have described the demands as blackmail.
How is it hurting Europe?
Europe - and in particular Germany - has historically been very reliant on Russian gas to meet its energy needs.
When Russia announced its intention to restrict supply in July, within a day it had pushed up the wholesale price of gas in Europe by 10%.
Gas prices are now approximately 450% higher than they were this time last year.
"The market is so tight at the moment that any disruption in supply causes more hikes in the price of gas," says Carole Nakhle, CEO of analysts Crystol Energy.
"This could cause slowdowns in European economies and accelerate the route towards recession."
And, what astrology says?
Gazprom shared this news on Twitter on 2nd September 2022 (17:51 Moscow time). We can notice transit Mars (energy) was at 7º Gemini. Gazprom was founded on 8th August 1989 in Saint Petersburg (time uknown, we cast the horoscope for 12pm). If we progress the chart of Gazprom for this moment we can notice its progressed Sun (reputation) at 7º 10’ Virgo.
On 24th February 2022 when Russia started its special operation in Ukraine, transit Moon was at 7º Sagittarius, secondary progressed Sun of the EU (the Sun is ruler of Asc 18º Leo in the chart of the EU) was at 7º 04’ Sagittarius, while secondary progressed Moon (people) of the EU was at 7º 15’ Gemini. Secondary progressed Moon of Vladimir Putin was crossing over 7º Sagittarius during the solar eclipse on 30th April 2022 and the lunar eclipse at 25º Scorpio in May 2022. Secondary progressed axis Asc/Desc of the EU is during 2022 at 7º Virgo/7º Pisces.
The EU has its Chiron (wound) at 6º 48’ Virgo (which is very close with 7º Virgo) in its 2nd house (financial system). Axis 2/8 of the EU goes over 6º45’ Virgo/6º45’ Sagittarius. Interesting or not, but the US chart has axis 2/8 over 7º Sagittarius/7º Gemini (if you use Asc of US 8º Scorpio, as I do use, source is Mark Penfield’s book) as well as this could be axis Asc/Desc of the US if you use well-known Sybil chart.
The first line of Nord Stream 1 was laid by May 2011 and was inaugurated on 8 November 2011. This year, on 8th November 2022 there is going to be the lunar eclipse at 16º Taurus, hitting the Sun’s placement from the chart of Nord Stream 1. In that chart, we can see out-of-bounds (OOB) Mercury at 7º Sagittarius, together with Venus at 7º Sagittarius. Also, there is going to be one eclipse (the lunar one) in 2023, in early May, on 5th May, at 14º 58’ Scorpio, which is also hitting the Sun at 15º Scorpio of Nord Stream 1. We must mention RxJupiter in the chart of Nord Stream 1, as that Jupiter is dispositor of OOB Mercury at 7º Sagittarius,as well as Venus at 7º Sagittarius. On 25th October 2022 there will be the solar eclipse at 2º Scorpio which will hit this RxJupiter, which is by the way, at Moon’s exaltation degree, and Pluto’s fall degree, and Pluto describes the deepest energy within the Underworld (gas, oil, etc).
Dmitri Medvedev was representing Russia on 8th November 2011, and I have to share with you that he has his axis of lunar nodes over 7º Gemini (North Node)/ 7º Sagittarius (South Node).
Angela Merkel was representing Germany on 8th November 2011, and as she is Sagittarius rising, it is very important that her Jupiter (ruler of her Asc) was placed at 7º Virgo during 2011.
In the horoscope of Germany – Unification 1991, we see Asc/Desc over 7º Sagittarius/7º Gemini, which is the US axis Asc /Desc (Sibly chart), or the US axis 2/8 if we use the US chart provided by Mark Penfield (Asc 8º Scorpio). Right now, September 2022, secondary progressed Moon of Germany is at 2º 30’ Gemini, making conjunction with Vladimir Putin’s Moon, and in January 2023 it will be at 7º Gemini. I have to remind you that transit Mars will turn direct on 12th January 2023 at 8º Gemini which will be very important moment for the relationship between Germany and Gazprom. Some thinks may start to move forward then.

Gerhard Schröder’s Solar Arc Neptune (gas) was at 7º 48’ Sagittarius on 8th November 2011 . Right now, in September 2022, his Solar Arc Saturn (restrictions) is at 7º Virgo 20’ where was Solar Arc Jupiter of Angela Merkel on 8th November 2011. In Solar Arc directions everything moves 1 degree per 1 year.
By the way, you can notice Gerhard’s Asc is the same as the US, 8 º Scorpio, and his axis of money, 2/8 is the same as the axis 2/8 of the US (which is the EU’s axis 8/2) and which is the axis over which the war in Ukraine (or special operation) has been started on 24th February 2022. It is 7 º Sagittarius/7 º Gemini axis!
Solar Arc Pluto (the deepest energy potential) of Ukraine was at 7º 21’ Sagittarius on 8th November 2011.
The US has its secondary progressed Sun at 6º56’ Pisces (which is almost 7º) on 8th November 2011 when Nord Stream 1 was launched in the air. At the same place, was Putin’s Solar Arc Chiron on 8th November 2011.Right now, Putin’s Solar Arc Mars (energy) is at 6º 45’ Pisces (September 2022) and during the whole 2023 it will cross over 7º Pisces. Over 7º Pisces during 2023 even Solar Arc Moon of Russia is going to cross, and I would specially pay attention on the moment when Saturn turns retrograde on 18th June 2023 at 7º Pisces!
On 30th August 2023 the Full Moon at 7º 25’ Pisces will join and open some things too!
On 18th July lunar nodes axis changing signs, entering backward 29º59’ Aries (North Node)/29º59’ Libra (Soutn Node), hitting exactly Dmitri Medvedev’s natal Moon at 29º Aries.
The EU starts its journey within the Underworld when the lower conjunction of retrograde Venus and the Sun happens – 13 August, 2023; The Time To Find Some Light Within The Dark..., But, you must be aware....
On 13 August Rx Venus and Sun will make so called ’the lower’ conjunction at 20º Leo 28’, and it will be just before the New Moon at 16º Leo. The midpoint of RVenus/Sun lower conjunction and this New Moon will be at 18º Leo where the EU has its Asc. It will be very challenging time for EU when it must cope within itself and find the light within the dark (whenever Venus in retro motion meets Sun she goes to Hade’s world and this is very often time when literally Death is happening, so I would not be susprise if the EU then is going to face literally with its ’Death’ i.e. transformation). At the same time, Uranus turns retrograde, very soon, on 29th August 2023, at 23º Taurus 05’, making preassure over the EU Moon, oposite the EU Mars/Pluto (energy) and squaring its Saturn in 7th at 23º Aquarius (which is an image of Russia).
But, the first bigger shaking, regardign euro’s stability, the EU is going to feel around 25th May 2023, when Uranus makes its first oppositon with RxMercury of the EU at 19º Scorpio 51’. This RxMercury in the chart of the EU is ruler of its 2nd house (currency) and dispositor of EU’s Chiron (wounds). Literally, citizens of the EU are going to find out that their pockets are empty.
The EU Solar Arc Mercury (ruler of its 2nd and it represents Euro as currency) on 8th November 2011 was at 7º 57’ Sagittarius.
Olaf Scholz Solar Arc Mars (energy) will be during 2023 at 7º Gemini.
On 8th November 2011 secondary progressed Sun of the EU was at 26º Scorpio 39’, where is today, during 2022, secondary progressed Sun of Nord Stream 1. At the same degree we find transit Moon on 2nd September 2022 when Gazprom shared its news on Twitter. And, at the sama place we find secondary progressed Venus and Pluto of the EU. Venus is ruler of its MC in the chart of the Eu, and speaks about its reputation, status, Pluto is essencial symbol for energy. But in mythological sence, Venus/Pluto is always an image of Persephone and Hades. The EU is here, let’s say – „trapped“.
Also, I have to tell you that Saturn will turn direct at 18º Aquarius, on 23 October 2022. At 18º Aquarius Saturn was on 24th February 20222 when the Russian special operation in Ukraine has been started. Axis Asc/Desc of the EU goes over 18º Leo/18º Sagittarius, and we may expect that from 23 October 2022 – on, things regarding this war are going to get some new form, something is goign to move forward. At the same time, Russia is going to make more preassure over the EU.
On 8th November 2011 secondary progresed Moon of Russia was at 24º Scorpio, exactly at Mars/Pluto in the chart of the EU, and Solar Arc Moon of Russia was at 25º Aquarius, exactly at Moon’s placement in the chart of the US. As you can see, they are all involved by itself. The Universe takes care about everything, always.
The first opposition of transit Uranus and the Sun at 8º Scorpio of the EU was happening around 31st May 2020, in the first year of corona virus pandemic. It was the first, some kind of stress, for the EU pillars. As the EU has very strong fixed element (Asc Leo, T-square over fixed signs), the fall of the EU will not be over night, it will take some time, it will have some stages, as fixed signs are the slowest and they don’t like change. That’s why the fall of the EU will be such a big stress for its citizens, for fixed signs they don’t love change, they use to get live in some routine, comfor zones, without being open for any change, because change means for them – I lose my pillars within me. But Uranus is now in Taurus, and they will be forced to change something. The change is painful, but it brings freedom too. Uranus falls in Taurus, the material world is going to be crashed, and if you put within yourself settings only for material life – now you are going to feel Uranus in Taurus as something against you. But not, it is the call for leaving material world and connecting with your spiritual side of life. The citzens of the EU got used to live in financial security, and this is going now to be for them the worst think. Even pandemic did not make them to leave materaial world, they accepted ’fast made vaccines’ just in order to enter again in restaurants, to travel, etc. But now, the money is the main actor, and losing money and material world for the EU citizens may be the real disaster....
In this chart we see the Moon’s (citizen of the EU) at the very end of the sign of Virgo, at 29 º. Every 29 º speaks on the end, that there is going to be some transition, and the sign of Virgo is speaking literally about the working class, ordinary people, who are going to lose their jobs. Aslo, the Moon represents food, and within the sign of Virgo there is strong conncection with food again, the very end of Virgo, 29 º, could be a sign there won’t be enough food, indeed. Also, it is very visible that the Moon is making square with lunar nodes axis over the very last degrees of Gemini and Sagittarius (29 º Sagittarius South Node/29 º Gemini North Node), which is also the sign that there is going to be such a hard time for the EU and its citizens. Something must be changed, or it is going to be the end of the EU! As placement of the Moon is in 12th house – be aware that there are some hiddens actions and that the truth is something else. The Sun’s placement (at 10 º Gemini) is very close with the royal fixed star Aldebaran which is placed at 9 º Gemini (The Watcher of East, which is literally Russia). People of the EU should keep their connection with Russia!
What happens when Uranus made the first oppositon with the Sun of the EU? The United Kingdom left EU on 1st January 2020. During 2021 Angela Merkel did step down. During 2022 on 1st August 2022 there was Mars/Uranus conjunction at 18 º Taurus, squaring exact Asc/Desc axis of the EU over 18 º Leo/18 º Aquarius. This was again big ’hard’ stress for the EU’s pillars. The new shock is coming in May 2023 with transit Uranus oppositon RxMercury (euro as currency) at 19 º Scorpio. Euro as currency may lose its value more and more, there will be some money restrictions. The dispositors of Mercury and Uranus in the chart of the EU are – Mars/Pluto in Scorpio (dispositor of Mercury) and Saturn at 23 º Aquarius (dispositor or Uranus in Capricorn), and they are in square! Well, this is going to be so big fall of euro as currency! Uranus will turn direct at 19 º Scorpio on 27th January 2024, when it will be the second episode of this falling apart.
On 9th April 2024 there will be the solar eclipse at 19 º Aries (the placement of the Moon in the chart of Nord Stream 1), opposite Venus of the EU at 19 º Libra, and Venus is the ruler of MC in the horoscope of the EU, so it represents the status, reputation. Axis 19 º Aries/19 º Libra is speaking about the King who is rising, and the King who is falling. At 19 º Aries I mapped Sweden in my mundane work several years ago, and around this eclipse Sweden may be in some focus. This eclipse may affect the reputation of the EU, for its Venus (ruler of MC) is at Sun’s fall-maybe some important figure within the EU will step down, leave the throne. Around the same time, transit Mars (energy) will be crossing over 7 º Pisces! Solar Arc axis of lunar nodes in Putin’s chart on 8th November 2011 were over 19 º Aries (North Node)/19 º Libra (South Node), and Solar Arc Mars of Putin was at 25 º Aquarius (Moon’s placement in the US chart), isn’t amazing!
End of April 2024 transit Jupiter is crossing over the Moon of EU, oppening its fixed T-square, bringing too much over the EU’s back, with Jupiter is always something like that, one problem after one, there will be some affaris within the EU too, legal, money affairs. Uranus is approaching the EU’s Moon during May 2024 for the first time (second time during Christmas time 2024 December), and that will be also one episode, one chapter of its falling apart, maybe the final one, but as Uranus will be back here again in 2025, the real final end we may expect in 2025.
And, all started with the The Treaty of Rome
This chart is the root
of the whole concept of the EU. All angular houses over 29 º
were also a sign this union won’t last, at least it won’t last in the same
form. Very soon, there will be the lunar nodes return, but reverse nodal
return, South Node in transit will be at 8 º Scorpio, where was
North Node in the moment of The Treaty of Rome 1958. It will happen aroun 1st
February 2023, at the same time when Germany will have its progressed Moon
around 7 º-8 º Gemini, with transit Mars direct (from 12th
January 2023), but stil in shadow, around the same place. When we face with the
reverse nodal return, we have to let it go something, that is the time of
separation.
In 2025, in January, Vladimir Putin will have his exact conjunction between his Mars OOB at Galactic Center and his progressed Sun (ruler of his MC). We ma expect he reaches his the best ever then, for natally he has Sun sextile Mars. All Soviet leaders had something at Galactic Center, and what is the most important for so called Milky Way is that here the person rules somehow - forever. I expect the planetary power of Vladimir Putin will culminate in 2024/25.
