Compared with previous coronations, the ceremony will undergo some alterations to represent multiple faiths, cultures, and communities across the United Kingdom, and will be shorter than his mother's coronation in 1953. The ceremony will begin with the anointing of Charles, symbolising his spiritual entry into kingship, and then his crowning and enthronement, representing his assumption of temporal powers and responsibilities. Camilla will be crowned in a shorter and simpler ceremony. The royal family will travel to Buckingham Palace afterward, in a state procession, and appear on the balcony to celebrate the occasion.
In addition to the coronation ceremony, the event will be marked by public ceremonies and celebrations in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the British Crown Dependencies and overseas territories. On 7 May, the Coronation Big Lunch will take place in the United Kingdom, providing the public with the opportunity to mark the occasion with street parties. The Coronation Concert will be held on the same day at Windsor Castle with representatives of the King and the Queen's charities as well as members of the general public in attendance. The Big Help Out initiative will take place on 8 May, to encourage community service and volunteering. Both the coronation at Westminster Abbey and the concert at Windsor Castle will be broadcast on television and streamed online.
This will be the first coronation of a British monarch in the 21st century and the 40th to be held at Westminster Abbey since 1066.
In the horoscope of coronation, which is happening just one day after the lunar eclipse at 14° 58’ Scorpio (on 5th May 2023) we see 6° Leo as Asc (interesting both, Charles as well as Camilla, have Leo Asc too, Charles’ Asc 5° Leo, Camilla’s Asc 4° Leo). The Sun, ruler of Asc, is placed at 15° Taurus, in 10th house (angular house), and it applying in conjunction with Uranus at 18° Taurus (around 1st August 2022, there was Mars/Uranus conjunction at 18 Taurus). Uranus falls in Taurus, and in this chart the Sun (King)/Uranus conjunction is speaking about the King who is going to take the UK into some big changes, but is he going to make it would be the real question here? Why? Because, Uranus falls in Taurus, as I’ve said, and it may happen that the Planet Earth (Taurus) won’t support the King regarding his environment climate agenda. Moreover, Charles III is becoming the King in the moment when his progressed Moon is just at the very end of Capricorn, at 29° Capricorn, preparing to enter 0° Aquarius in June/July 2023 which means that it will make conjunction with transit Pluto as well as square with his natal Sun at 0° Taurus. As Charles III was born with the Moon/Sun oppositon, just after the solar eclipse at 8° Scorpio on 1st November 1948, we may say that progressed Moon in square with his natal Sun is some kind of repeating pattern and that this King won’t be supported by the UK nation. One more important thing is that in my mundane work I’ve discovered the importance of 11° of fixed signs, for all royals (through history) did step down when 11° of fixed sign was acctivated. Charles III is going to have his progressed Moon at 11° Aqaurius in about one year from now, so in April/May 2024 we may watch he is stepping down.
The last Saturn/Uranus square in December 2021 was over 11° Aquarius/11° Taurus – in February 2022 the late Queen Elizabeth II had her progressed Moon at 11° Aquarius.

All Royals stepped down whit Grand Fixed Cross over 11º, even that was a pattern with Edward VIII who gave up on throne because of love, as well as with Harry and Meghan. But, not only royals, even Boris Johson won election (December 2019) with his progressed Moon at 11° Scorpio, which was for me a sigh that he may lose/or he won’t finish his full term, and it was happend, he did step down in 2022.
Rishi Sunak, the current PM of the UK, took his office on 25th October 2022 with his progressed Moon around 10° -11° Scorpio, the same as Boris did, which was also a sign that he will step down in some moment. In May 2024 Rishi is going to have his first Uranus/Urans opposition which is the moment in life when we are doing some big change, taking much more space and freedom for ourselves (for example Edward VIII gave up on throne with transit Uranus at 11° Taurus opposite his natal Uranus at 11° Scorpio). Just few hours before this exact Uranus/Uranus oppostion in Rishi’s chart – transit Moon was crossing over 11° Scorpio, calling out his progressed Moon from 25th October 2022 when he became PM. As you can notice, May 2024 I’ve mentioned already, regarding King Charles III from the point of view of his progressed Moon at 11° Aquarius.
Coronatin is happening in the moment of retrograde Mercury at 8° Taurus (just opposite the solar eclipse spot at 8° Scorpio on 1st November 1948 which I’ve mentioned above as Charles’ III prenatal solar eclipse), which is also a sign that Charles III won’t last as king. Mercury started its retro motion on 21st April 2023 (just after the solar eclipse at 29° Aries-0° Taurus, conjunct his natal Sun 0° Taurus) at 15° Taurus (conjunct the Sun in the moment of coronation) and it will cross over the same spot on 1st June 2023, this time as direct.
I would watch on 5th Septebmer 2023 when Jupiter is going to start its retro motion at 15° Taurus too, as it may be the beginning f some affairs around the King Charles III. The Moon’s placement in the moment of coronation at 24° Scorpio, just around Charles’ natal Sun at 22° Scorpio is nice for his ego, giving him a fame, popularity, but not very promissng for the UK nation, as Moon falls in Scorpio. Both dispositors, Mars as well as Pluto, are in applying oppositon (Mars 21° Cancer/Pluto 0° Aquarius), and exact oppostion will happen around 21st/22 May 2023, just after the New Moon around Algol malefic star (opposite Charles’ Sun/Chiron conjunction at 22°-28° Scorpio), which is very heavy energy for everyone who is a head of some state, specially as royals generally are very linked with the energy of Algol in their charts (late Diana had her Venus around Algol, Prince William too, Prince Harry too, Elizabeth II became queen with her progressed Sun at Algol on 6th February 1952). Mars/Pluto opposition over 0° Leo/0° Aquarius is axis of New Time we are all stepping into and the first lunation after coronation is not promissing for King Charles III, for with Algol always some King is going to lose his head in time, literally or not, but with Algol we fall, always. Very oftern we fall because of some law issue, for with Algol some Justice may be involved.
On 8th September 2023 (15:10 BST) the placement of draco Sun (the King) was at 0° Leo saying that the new King is going to take the UK into New Time Order which started in December 2020 with the great Jupiter/Saturn conjunction at 0° Aquairus (with Biden’s winning and covid-19 vaccination) and which is continuing with Pluto’s entering 0° Aquarius in March 2023. I would just remind you that on 8th September 2022 Mercury was already stacionary at 8° Libra, ready to turn retro on 10th September at 8° Libra . That was also a sign that the new PM won’t last, and she (Liz Truss) did not, and that the new King won’t last. Now we are having retro Mercury for coronation, so again the same pattern is around Charles III.
Recently, on 7th March 2023, he had his lunar nodes return which is also a sign that he must go through some lessons, accepting, giving up on something, and move on. His lunar nodes axis is going to be called out in late October 2023 (28th October) when we are going to have the lunar eclipse at 5° Taurus, conjunct his North Node at 4° Taurus.
The ruler of the Sun (King) in the chart of coronation is Venus out-of-bounds (OOB) at 28° Gemini, which is by the way VOC too – not making any aspect before she changes sign and enters 0° Cancer. This is also one more sign that Charles III as King is going to be in some kind of ’empty walk’ vibe regarding his monarchy role. He may want a lot, but he will be somehow trapped too.
Charles III was born with Leo Asc, and the Sun (ruler of his Asc) around fixed star Unukalhai (Serpens constellation) which literally is linked with homeopathy as well as alternative medicine. It’s well-known that King Charles III is someone who supports and who uses homeopathy for his well-being, but it’s also strange that someone who is into homeopathy accepted C-19 vaccination. However, he is choosed by the Universe to take the UK into new journey which means transition from old time to new time, where something like global digitalization as well as C-19 vaccination should be new reallity. But, what about his Sun (ruler of his Asc) at Unukalhai (alternative medicine)?
The United Kingdom is in big transition, and we can see that even through secondary progressed Moon of the late Queen Elizabeth II at 29° Aquarius in the moment of coronation of her son Charles III. It’s the end of one period and the beginning of new one. It’s a transition spot, 29° of each sign.
