Moldova–Russia relations and 26° of mutable signs

Russo-Moldovan relations became a main focus of foreign policy for Republic of Moldova after the collapse of the Soviet Union. During the Transnistria War, Russia gave formal and informal support to Moldovan secessionist, direct intervention of Russian 14th Guards Army stationed in Moldova on behalf of the secessionist side resulted in end to fighting and the emergence of the internationally unrecognized entity of Transnistria.
In the horoscope of Moldavia we can see the Moon/Mars opposition over 26° Pisces/26° Virgo, which is exactly axis Asc/Desc (26° Virgo/26° Pisces) of the Russian Federation. Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, has his OOB (out-of-bounds) Mars at 26° Sagittarius (at Galactic Center, well-known as Milky Way, the place of the biggest power within the Zodiac), squaring axis 26° Virgo/26° Pisces.
From 9th April – 11th May 2023, transit Neptune is going to cross over 26° Pisces (by the way draco Moon of the Russian Federation is placed 27° Pisces, which means that the memory of Russian people today has very strong bond with Moldavian people, after all, they were sometimes – the one, the same, within the USSR), calling out the relationship between Moldavia and Russia.
Moldavia has its Sun (ruler of its MC, e.i. 10th house – government, Prime Minister, President) in 10th house, at 3° Virgo, in inconjunction with Saturn at 1° Aquarius, which means that in the moment when transit Saturn comes at 3° Pisces, and makes an oppositon with Moldavian’s Sun – the government of this country may go through some challenges times, when they may lose something.
Also, Dmitri Medvedev’s Solar Arc Moon (Russian people) is during 2023 at 26° Gemini, and now we have the Grand Cross over 26° of mutable sign. And, if the New Moon at 26° Gemini (on 18th June 2023) joins too (in the moment when Saturn turns retro at 7° Pisces), we are getting the activation of something in relations between Moldavia and Russia. It may be intense, as the energy of every Grand Cross must ’explode’.
Secondary progressed Moon of Vladimir Putin is going to cross over 26° Sagittarius too, end of August/the beginning of September 2023. At the same time, transit Neptune is crossing again over 26° Pisces, but this time in retro motion. Also, and Saturn in its retro motion is crossing again over 3° Pisces, hitting the Sun of Moldavia (I spoke on this above already).
As you can see (charts which I am putting after this paragraph), secondary progressed Sun and seconary progressed Moon of Putin are meeting at the same spot in late August 2023, and easy starting to make conjunction (we still need orb 30’ + -) with his natal OOB Mars at Galactic Center. When his secondary progressed Moon (Russian people) makes exact conjunction with his natal Mars -it may be a challenge for him, his people, and the relations between Moldavia and Russia, as it is calling out his natal Moon/Mars opposition as well as Moon/Mars oppositon in the chart of Moldavia. Some struggle may be there.
During 2024 his secondary progressed Sun is going to cross over his OOB Mars (natally he has Mars/Sun trine) which means that his great war success may starting to come already end of 2023/the beginning of 2024. Also, he may use then some very special weapon, as all is happening around Galactic Center (which is by the way Sputnik too, and every journey in space).
As I’ve said, we may expect some events starting from 9th April already, but I would pay attention also on the moment when transit Sun is going to cross over 26° Pisces, and that is happening around 17th March 2023, just before Pluto’s changing of signs.
If we take a look on draconic chart of Moldavia, we can notice the Sun (government, PM, President) at 15° Scorpio, conjunction Russian’s Pluto, opposition Russian’s Venus. On 5th May 2023 we are going to have the lunar eclipse at 14° Scorpio 58’. Pluto in the horoscope of Russia is sitting at the cusp of its 3rd house (neighbourhood), and Venus is sitting at the cusp of its 9th house (abroad).
And one more imporatant thing! Look where is draco Neptune of Moldavia! It is at 26° Pisces!
Also, what I have to mention is axis of draco Moon/Mars oppositon of Moldavia. It goes over 8° Gemini/8° Sagittarius (it is the axis of lunar node’s of Medvedev, as well as ais of Gazprom, you can read my article on Nord Stream here). This axis was acctivated on 12/13 January 2023 when transit Mars turned direct. I have to add here something important. When ex Yugoslavia was starting to falling apart, 8° of mutable signs were acctivated, and whenever some ex YUG repbulic wanted to leave Yugoslavia, to separeate, we have 8° of mutable in the air, even regarding Kosovo and Metohija. What I want now to say is this: if Moon/Mars opposition in the chart of Moldavia is going over 26° of Pisces/Virgo, and if it hits the horoscope of Russia, Putin, Solar Arc Moon of Medvedev, one is clear – those two countries may re/open again some old issues during 2023.
Transnistria
Igor Smirnov was the first President of the Pridnestovian Moldavian Republic. His natal Sun is at 29° Libra/0° Scorpio (time of birth unknown). Pridnestovian proclimed its indepnedce from SSR of Moldavia on 2nd of September 1990. Solar Arc Mercury of Mikhael Gorbachev (the President of USSR in that moment) was at 28° -29° Aries. It happend just after the solar eclipse at 29° Cancer on 22nd July 1990.
The nationalist Popular Front won the first free parliamentary elections in the Moldavian SSR in early 1990, and its agenda started slowly to be implemented. On 2nd September 1990, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic (PMSSR) was proclaimed as a Soviet republic by an ad hoc assembly, the Second Congress of the Peoples' Representatives of Transnistria, following a successful referendum. Violence escalated when in October 1990 the Popular Front called for volunteers to form armed militias to stop an autonomy referendum in Gagauzia, which had an even higher share of ethnic minorities. In response, volunteer militias were formed in Transnistria. In April 1990, nationalist mobs attacked ethnic Russian members of parliament, while the Moldovan police refused to intervene or restore order.
In the interest of preserving a unified Moldavian SSR within the USSR and preventing the situation escalating further, then Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, while citing the restriction of civil rights of ethnic minorities by Moldova as the cause of the dispute, declared the Transnistria proclamation to be lacking legal basis and annulled it by presidential decree on 22 December 1990. Nevertheless, no significant action was taken against Transnistria and the new authorities were slowly able to establish control of the region.
I must add why Gorbachev’s Mercury is important. In his natal chart it has placement at 29° Aquarius, and now transit Saturn is just crossing over it, calling out some old contracts. During 1990, his secondary progressed axis IC/MC (territory/his presidency) was at the very end of Aquarius/Leo, i.e. 29° Aquarius/29° Leo, and here we go again, now transit Saturn is crossing over the same axis, calling out the past, as I’ve said already...
In his natal chart, Merucry is the ruler of intercepted Gemini in his 9th house (abroad). Just to remind you that Moldavia is sandwich between Romania and Ukraine, which is fitting with meaning of the intercepted sign.
And look where was his Solar Arc Mars (moving one degree per year)? It has placement at 26° Virgo, which acctivated the Grand Cross over 26° of mutable sign, which describes the relations between Moldavia and Russia. Mars is the ruler of his 8th (conflicts) and by default it speaks about wars, and in his chart is in his 10th, in the sign where it falls, and very close with Mars’ falls degree (28° of Cancer) which was acctivated with the solar eclipse I’ve mentioned (July 1990). Mars’ fall degree always means – war!
Transnistria War
The Transnistria War followed armed clashes on a limited scale that broke out between Transnistrian separatists and Moldova as early as November 1990 at Dubăsari. Volunteers, including Cossacks, came from Russia to help the separatist side. In mid-April 1992, under the agreements on the split of the military equipment of the former Soviet Union negotiated between the former 15 republics in the previous months, Moldova created its own Defence Ministry. According to the decree of its creation, most of the 14th Guards Army's military equipment was to be retained by Moldova. Starting from 2nd March 1992, there was concerted military action between Moldova and Transnistria. The fighting intensified throughout early 1992. The former Soviet 14th Guards Army entered the conflict in its final stage, opening fire against Moldovan forces; approximately 700 people were killed. Moldova has since then exercised no effective control or influence on Transnistrian authorities. A ceasefire agreement, signed on 21 July 1992, has held to the present day.
Within the period which I’ve mentioend already (9th April-11th May 2023) we should pay attention on the solar eclipse on 20th April 2023, when the solar eclipse is happening at 29° Aries. Why? The same eclipse we had on 19th April 2004, and just around that eclipse, one month before, Vladimir Putin was elected for the President of the Russian Federation (14th March, 2004).
Igor Smirnov, the first President of Transnistrian, has his natal Sun at 29° Libra/0° Scorpio, I’ve already said that. On 17th September 2006 there was the referenedum with two questions:
1.) Do you want Transnistria reintegrate within Moldavia (which was rejected) or
2.) Do you want Transnistria stays independent and to join to the Russian Federation in the future (which was approved).
Solar Arc Moon of Gorbarchev just camed in that moment at 0° Scorpio, finishing crossing over 29° Libra.
Just to remind you that the current President of the USA has his natal Moon at 0° Taurus, so I would not be surprised if the US takes its role in all this during spring 2023...

In case that Transistria join now Russia, which may happen, Russia is going to get exit on the river Danube, which is changing a lot in geopolitical way and it is working in favour of Russia.
Vladimir Zelensky, has his natal Rx Mars (OOB too), at 0° Leo, and Pluto is going to hit it on 24th March 2023, although he is already under the transit of Pluto at 29° Capricorn (where by the way Moldavia has its draco Pluto). His Mars is in his 3rd (neighbourhood) and represents conflicts, wars, struggling.
His secondary progressed Asc is almost at 29° Cancer, where was the solar eclipse on 22nd July 1990 just before Transistria proclimed independence. His Solar Arc Vertex (the point of wish) is at 26° Sagitarius, calling out the Grand Cross over 26° of mutable signs, and his draco Fortuna is at 26° Gemini.
One is sure, we are going very soon to see will Moldavia is going to be in the air too. Watch on period between 9th April – 11th May 2023, and specially around 19th April 2023 when eclipse is happening. Later, I would watch on end August, the beginning of September...
