 On 6th February 2023, an earthquake struck southern and central Turkey, and northern and western Syria. It occurred 34 km (21 mi) west of the city of Gaziantep at 04:17 AM TRT (01:17 UTC), with a magnitude of at least Mw 7.8, and a maximum Mercalli intensity of XI (Extreme). There was widespread damage and tens of thousands of fatalities. It was the deadliest and strongest earthquake in Turkey since the 1939 Erzincan earthquake, of the same magnitude, together with which it is the second strongest in the history of the country after the 1668 North Anatolia earthquake .

First, what I’ve noticed is that axis Asc/Desc is over 7° Capricorn /7° Cancer , which is exactly over axis Asc/Desc of Turkey (Asc 7° Cancer/7° Capricorn). As an astrologer I have to say that if this was the Universe wish – then, it was too much. If this was a man wish, then someone choosed perfect time! Turkey has its Mars (malefic planet) at 7° Libra, squaring its Asc/Desc over 7° Cancer/7° Capricorn, as well as axis of Asc/Desc over 7° Capricorn/7° Cancer in the horoscope of earthquake. Mars has its placement in 4th house (deep in the countryside). Also, Mars carries within itself Chiron at 18° Aries, so definitely this all brings wounds for Turkey.   You will see later in this article, why 18° of cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) is very important in this story.

I always love to check draco chart of some event, as it speaks about the memory of our soul regarding the current event. And what we see in draco chart? We see the Moon’s placement is at 12° 53’ Cancer (almost at 13° Cancer) in conjunction with the brightest star Sirius, where the US has its Sun’s placement.

According to tradition, Sirius will give a famous death with honors beyond the grave, if positioned in the 8th house like here we have the case.

 

 20 April 1917 & 20 April 2023 - the end of relations between the US and Turkey?

I was researching the history of diplomatic relations between the US and Turkey. On 11th February 1830 there was the mutal recognation. But, on 20th April 1917  ( pay attention on this, because on 20th April 2023 we are going to have the solar eclipse at 29° Aries and soon I am going to say something more about that) Ottomans severed diplomatic relations with the US. The South Node (the spot of loss) was at 13° Cancer, calling out the star Sirius, making conjunction with the Sun of the US.  

Well, well, Vladimir Putin's draco Moon is also placed at 13° Cancer (Sirus)...  Turkey and its president is very close with Russia, and the question is - Is this all because the US does not want Erdogan and Putin as allies?!

Solar Arc Moon of the US was also then at 13 °Cancer. Secondary progressed Sun of the US was at 0° Sagittarius (which is the placement of the Asc in draco chart of the earthquake on 6th February 2023).

 On 17th February 1927 the US and Turkey re-established diplomatic relations. Transit Saturn was at 6° Sagittarius, squaring Erodogan’s natal Sun 6° Pisces.

The Lunar Return of Turkey was on 1st February 2023, few days before earthquake, and we can notice there the MC placement at 13° Cancer too! This chart lasts 27 days, and within that period earthquake happened.
