Smiljana Gavrančić obtained her astrological education at the Institute for Astrological Research and Education "Johannes Kepler" in Belgrade, where she graduated in October 2010, defending her thesis in Mundane Astrology “European Union – In Varietate Concordia” (united in diversity) and obtained the status of a graduated Astrologer Researcher. In February 2011, she met requirements to work as an Astrologer Consultant and in March of the same year, she became an International Certified Professional Astrologer (ISAR C.A.P.).

Smiljana is a member of  the Astrological Association of Great Britain .

Smiljana was one of the very few astrologers worldwide who correctly predicted Trump would be the 45^th President of the USA. She gave that prediction on 7th September 2015 (one year before election). You can read that article here: The White House and 22 Gemini

 

Smiljana predicted in September 2019 (one year before the US Presidential Election) that Kamala Harris will be the first black woman who will enter the White House. Smiljana was maybe the only one within the world astro comunity who saw the importance of Kamala's natal chart for the upcoming election, one year before election! In that moment, Kamala was running for the nomination within Democracy Party. Very soon after, she gave up from the race (in December 2019).  During the academic 2010/11 within the post-graduate level, she studied Hermetic Astrology.

Smiljana finds great inspiration in research work, which she presents in her astrological texts. A special emphasis isput on finding significant degrees in the Zodiac for a specific country in the area of Mundane Astrology or a significant degree for relations between two persons in the Astrology of Relations. In her search for responses to the question as to why something (or someone) is happening to us, Smiljana also practices Karmic Astrology, as well as the Astrology of Archetype (fixed stars, mythology).

Smiljana studied International law and Law of International Organizations at the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade. She interrupted her studies at the last year (in 2006) and since then, she exclusively dedicated her life to self-study of astrology.

In March 2015, Smiljana's article "Russia and 19 Libra" (one part of it) was published on The Mountain Astrologer blog.

Berlin and 20º Aries - 20º Libra Axis

Today, the most influential EU member country, the fourth economy of the world (immediately after the USA, China and Japan) is the country which started World War II – Germany, is traditionally linked to the first zodiac sign, the sign of Aries, the sign where Mars (war) is domicile. However, as Mars is exalted in Capricorn, the sign where Saturn (borders, restrictions, walls, culture, people of other skin color…) are domicile, it seems that the axis of the fall and exaltation of Saturn, 20° Aries – 20° Libra could be rather significant for this country, more precisely, its capital – Berlin.

Horoscope of Germany

20° Aries – 20° Libra axis in the horoscope of Germany goes through 12 (secret services, camps, closed-type institutions…) and 6 (lower layers of the population, working class, healthcare, army…). The degree of Saturn’s fall (20° Aries) would be the picture of Germany, as a country know for its most repressive secret police forces in the world (Gestapo during the Hitler’s Nazi Germany and Stazi – East German secret police during the Cold War), which implemented the most horrific actions against the Jews, Roma, political opponents… Also, at 20° Aries, we have a picture of East (Aries – East) Berlin, which was under the influence of the Soviet Block and central economy during the Cold War period. Here we have a picture of people who are in some form of a ‘fall’ because of the system, state (Saturn). Namely, it is well known that human rights and freedoms in Eastern Germany were at a very low level. On the other side, across from it, at 20° Libra (West) is the degree of Saturn’s exaltation, thus, this is also the picture of Western Berlin, where the system is much more advanced, based on Western market economy. At 20° Libra we have a picture of exaltation of justice, a picture of democracy, which is why the rights and freedoms here are guaranteed. Western Germany was the symbol of political freedoms and economic prosperity and this is why it was attractive for the citizens of the Eastern Germany. The sixth house in the horoscope of any country presents its working class, which is why one of the basic reasons for making of the Cold War symbol, the Berlin Wall, is precisely – prevention of outflow of the working class from the Eastern to Western Germany. Today, Germany remains the country that offers business safety and high degree of health protection.

The Olympics in Berlin in 1936

The eleventh Summer Olympic Games were held in Berlin in 1936. Berlin was selected as a host country in 1931, at the time of Weimar Republic, as the center of European multi-culture. However, in 1933, the Third Reich was established, the Nazis abolish the Republic and the German Nazis take over (20° Aries – Saturn’s fall). However, during the Olympics, the Nazis did make a concession and temporarily suspended the anti-Semitic laws, releasing the games participants from the obligation to respect the law prohibiting homosexuals. These games remain to be remembered by the famous Afro-American, athlete Jessie Owens, who became the start winning as many as four gold medals, thus giving a huge slap to the whole Nazi philosophy, which fits into the degree of Saturn’s exaltation (a black person), 20° Libra! There is a story that Adolf Hitler pointedly left the grandstands, as he did not want him to be awarded medals because of his black (Saturn) skin color. 

World War II – 1^st September 1939

If we start from the fact that Germany is the country which initiated World War II, it is interesting them that the axis in the directions (going for 1° in 1 year, as everything in the directions) of 1-7 (opportunities in the country, the capital Berlin – everyone standing across, diplomatic relations) was going precisely during that year over the 20° Leo – 20°Aquarius axis, making harmonic aspects to 20° Aries – 20° Libra axis, the axis which, most certainly, in the Zodiac presents Berlin. This is the picture of Germany getting into the war with ease (harmonic aspects).

 The Cold War (1946-1991)

After World War II, Berlin, as well as the rest of Germany, was divided into four sectors and it was surrounded from all sides by the Soviet sector. The Soviet Union, United States, Great Britain and France controlled each their respective parts of Berlin. The Soviet Union was by far the largest. The three sectors, controlled by the USA, Britain and France – the so-called Western Berlin, even though officially and still under the sovereignty of the alliance, in 1949, have become a part of Western Germany, completely surrounded by Eastern Germany. In the beginning, citizens of Berlin were allowed to freely move between the sectors. Also, as the Cold War progressed, the free flow was all the more restrictive. The border between Eastern and Western Germany was closed in 1952, however, it only remained open in Berlin. About two and a half million Germans from the Eastern sector crossed to the West, between 1949 and 1952. A great number of professionals in all areas were moving to the West. One day, a whole Department of Mathematics of the University of Leipzig moved across.

Berlin Blockade

One of the first great international crisis of the Cold War and the first such, which led to victims, was the so-called Berlin Blockade, on 24^th June 1948. It lasted for almost a year, until 11^th May 1949. If we look at the secondary progressions of Germany for this moment, we find that the secondary Moon – people (moving by 1° in one month) was positioned precisely at 20° Libra, which, of course, automatically ‘called in’ the 20° Libra – 20° Aries axis! The result of Berlin Blockade was the creation of the Berlin Air Lift.

The Berlin Wall

Idea about the construction of the Wall came from the East German Government of Walter Ulbricht, which was approved by the then Soviet leader – Nikita Hruščov. As described above, the Wall was to prevent movement of working class from the East to the West Berlin. The construction of 45 kilometers barrier about the three Western sectors started on a Sunday, 13^th August 1961, in the East Berlin. The barrier was constructed by the East-German solders and workers (series 6). Thus, barbed wires were lifted and they were later replaced by a real wall. Many families were thus suddenly separated and the population was cut off from their jobs and changes for financial prosperity. West Berlin had become an isolated enclave on the enemy’s territory. The whole length of the border, between the East and West Germany, was closed with walls, mine fields and other obstacles.

Let us look at the position of the secondary Moon – people (moving by 1° in 1 month) of Germany for the moment when the construction of the Berlin Wall was started. We notice that it is precisely the axis of 20° Aries, which again ‘calls in’ the axis 20° Aries – 20° Libra! This is also the picture of the people in some form of a ‘fall’, which was the aim of the wall construction… 

USSR

Let us look back to the secondary (moving by 1° in 1 year) 3-9 axis (neighbors – the abroad) of the horoscope of the Bolshevik Russia (7^th November 1917, 10:00, Petrograd, Russia, Asc 26° Scorpio) for 13^th August 1961, having in mind that the USSR had an indirect relation with the creation of the Berlin Wall. We find that this axis goes precisely at 20° Libra – 20° Aries, which is the axis that, inside the Zodiac, pictures Berlin! To all this I add the natal position of the Moon (Russian people) at 20° Leo from the chart of the Bolshevik Russia, which also supports the 20° Aries – 20° Libra axis (Berlin), which finally paints the picture of Russian ‘involvement’ in the construction of the Berlin Wall.

 „Tear down this wall“

In its famous speech, on 12^th June 1987, in the West Berlin, American President Ronald Reagan, urged the Soviet leader Mikhael Gorbachev with the famous sentence: “Tear down this wall!”. On this date, diurnal (daily horoscope) done for Berlin, Reagan had his Sun at 20° Gemini, while his natal 1-7 axis goes over 20° Sagittarius – 20° Gemini. All this supports 20° Aries – 20° Libra axis by harmonic aspects. This is the picture of a ‘successful call’ which Reagan spoke up to the Soviets precisely from Berlin.

Reagan and Gorbachev met for the first time in the famous Reykjavik Summit on 11^th October 1986, eight months prior to Reagan’s speech in Berlin. Then, the Nodes axis was going over 20° Aries (North Node – future) and 20° Libra (South Node – past), through the axis which pictures Berlin in the Zodiac! This was just but another sign…

  

The Berlin Wall came down on 9^th November 1989. The Cold War ended precisely thanks to the Soviet leader Gorbachev and Germany was reunited on 3^rd October 1990.

The First Female Chancellor

Today, Germany is ruled by the first female Chancellor in the history of this country. Of course, this is Angela Merkel, who has been running this country successfully for almost a full decade. It is interesting to see the secondary progressions of the horoscope of a new, united Germany (3^rd October 1990, 12:00, Bonn, Asc 7° Sagittarius) for the moment of her coming to power, 21^st November 2005. Precisely then, the secondary IC-MC axis (territory – government in the country) was going through 20° Aries – 20° Libra, which now, quite certainly, confirms the significance of this axis for this country!

 Seventh Uranus – Pluto square

The last Uranus – Pluto square, seventh in row, will be happening on 17^th March 2015. This square will be going through 15° Aries – 15° Capricorn and it will activate the seventh energy center (chakra), which we relate to the planet of Saturn. As the 20° Aries – 20° Libra axis is practically the Saturn axis (its fall and exaltation), it is interesting then to look at the chart for this event, as precisely the Ascendant at that moment (observed for Greenwich, the picture for the whole world) it will be set precisely at 20° Sagittarius, which is at Ascendant of Ronald Reagan, which will support the 20° Aries – 20° Libra axis (Berlin). We may now foresee that Germany could easily take a leading role in the world, having in mind that Angela, in her natal chart, has the Moon (German people) at 15° Aquarius, which will be making a sextile with Uranus at 15° Aries and a semi-sextile with Pluto at 15° Capricorn. It remains to be seen what is the role that Angela Merkel will take over, what will also have a final effect onto the German people… We can certainly expect the role to be a central ‘royal’ one (15°) …

Danas najuticajnija zemlja članica EU, četvrta ekonomija sveta (odmah nakon SAD, Kine i Japana), zemlja koja je započela Drugi svetski rat – Nemačka, tradicionalno se vezuje za prvi znak u Zodijaku, znak Ovna, znak gde je Mars (rat) u sedištu. No, kako Mars egzaltira u znaku Jarca, znaku gde je Saturn (granice, restrikcije, zid, kultura, ljudi druge boje kože...) u sedištu, izgleda da bi osa pada i egzaltacije Saturna, 20º Ovna-20º Vage, mogla biti vrlo bitna za ovu zemlju, tačnije, prestonicu – Berlin.

Horoskop Nemačke

Osa 20º Ovna-20º Vage u horoskopu Nemačke ide preko 12. (tajne službe, logori, ustanove zatvorenog tipa...) i 6. polja (niži slojevi stanovništva, radnička klasa, zdravstvo, vojska...). Stepen pada Saturna (20º Ovna) bi bila slika  Nemačke kao zemlje poznate po najrepresivnijim tajnim policijama na svetu (Gestapo za vreme Hitlerove, Nacističke Nemačke i Štazi – Istočno Nemačka tajna policija, za vreme Hladnog rata) koje su sprovodile najgnusnije akcije prema Jevrejima, Romima, političkim neistomišljenicama... Takođe, na 20º Ovna imamo i sliku Istočnog (Ovan-istok) Berlina koji je bio pod uticajem sovjetskog bloka i planske ekonomije tokom perioda Hladnog rata. Ovde imamo sliku ljudi koji su u nekoj vrsti „pada“ zbog sistema, države (Saturn). Naime, opšte je poznato da su ljudska prava i slobode u Istočnoj Nemačkoj bila na vrlo niskoj lestvici. S’ druge strane, preko puta, na 20º Vage (zapad), se nalazi stepen egzaltacije Saturna, pa je ovo ujedno i slika Zapadnog Berlina gde je sistem mnogo uređeniji, zasnovan na principima tržišne, zapadne, ekonomije. Na 20º Vage imamo sliku egzaltacije pravde, sliku demokratije, te su stoga prava i slobode ovde zagarantovana. Zapadna Nemačka je bila simbol političkih sloboda i ekonomskog prosperiteta i stoga vrlo primamljiva za stanovnike Istočne Nemačke. Šesto polje u horoskopu svake države predstavlja radničku klasu, pa se kao jedan od osnovnih razloga za izgradnju simbola Hladnog rata, Berlinskog zida, navodi  upravo – sprečavanje odliva radnika iz Istočne u Zapadnu Nemačku. I danas, Nemačka je zemlja koja nudi poslovnu sigurnost i visok stepen zdravstvene zaštite...

Olimpijada u Berlinu -1936. god.

Jedanaeste letnje olimpijske igre održane su 1936. godine u Berlinu. Berlin je selektovan za domaćina 1931., u vreme Vajmarske republike, kao centar evropske multikulturalnosti. Međutim, 1933.god nastaje Treći Rajh, nacisti ukidaju republiku i na scenu stupaju rasistički zakoni  (20º Ovna-pad Saturna). No, ipak, za vreme olimpijade, nacisti prave ustupak i privremeno suspenduju antijevrejske zakone a učesnike igara su oslobodili obaveze poštovanja zakona o zabrani homoseksualizma. Ove igre će ostati upamćenje po čuvenom afroamerikancu, atletičaru, Jesseiu Owensu, koji je postao zvezda  osvojivši  čak četiri zlatne medalje,  zadavši tako veliki šamar čitavoj nacističkoj filozofiji, što se uklapa u stepen egzaltacije Saturna (crnac), 20º Vage! Priča se da je Adolf Hitler tada demonstrativno napustio tribine  jer nije želeo da mu dodeli medalju zbog njegove crne (Saturn) boje kože.

Drugi svetski rat – 01. septembar, 1939.

Ako krenemo od činjenice da  je Nemačka  zemlja koja je inicirala Drugi svetski rat onda je zanimljivo to što  je diretkivna osa (kreće se 1º za 1 godinu, kao i sve u direkcijama) 1-7 (prilike u zemlji, glavni grad, Berlin -svako ko stoji preko puta, diplomatski odnosi) baš  tokom te godine išla preko 20º Lava-20º Vodolije, gradeći harmonične aspekte na osu 20º Ovna-20º Vage, na osu koja sasvim sigurno  unutar Zodijaka predstavlja Berlin. Ovo je slika Nemačke koja u rat ulazi sa lakoćom (harmonični aspekti).

Hladan rat (1946-1991)

Posle Drugog svetskog rata, Berlin, kao i ostatak Nemačke, je podjeljen u četiri sektora i bio je opkoljen sa svih strana sovjetskim sektorom. Sovjetski Savez, Sjedinjene Države, Velika Britanija i Francuska su kontrolisale svaka svoj deo Berlina. Sovjetski sektor je bio daleko najveći. Tri sektora, kontrolisana od strane SAD, Britanije i Francuske -  tzv. Zapadni Berlin, iako zvanično i dalje pod suverenitetom saveznika, 1949. godine postala su deo Zapadne Nemačke, potpuno okruženi Istočnom Nemačkom. U početku, građanima Berlina je bilo dozvoljeno da se slobodno kreću između sektora. Isto tako, kako je Hladni rat napredovao, tako je slobodan protok bio sve restriktivniji. Granica između Istočne i Zapadne Nemačke je bila zatvorena 1952., ali je jedino u Berlinu bila otvorena. Oko dva i po miliona  Nemaca iz Istočnog sektora je prešlo na Zapad između 1949. i 1952. godine. Veliki broj profesionalnih radnika iz svih oblasti je prelazilo na Zapad. Jednog dana je tako prebegla cela matematička katedra Univerziteta u Lajpcigu.

Blokada Berlina

 Jedna od prvih velikih međunarodnih kriza Hladnog rata i prva takva koja je dovela do žrtava bila je tzv.čuvena Blokada Berlina, 24. juna, 1948. godine. Trajala je gotovo godinu dana, do 11. maja, 1949. Ako pogledamo sekundarne progresije Nemačke za taj trenutak, nalazimo da je sekundarni Mesec -narod (kreće se 1º za 1 mesec) upravo bio pozicioniran na 20º Vage, što je, naravno, automatski „prozvalo“ osu 20º Vage-20º Ovna! Berlinska blokada je za rezultat imala stvaranje Berlinskog vazdušnog lifta.

Berlinski zid

Ideja o izgradnji zida potiče od istočnonemačke vlade Valtera Ulbrihta a koju je odobrio tadašnji sovjetski vođa – Nikita Hruščov. Kao što sam gore  u tekstu navela, zid je trebao da spreči prelazak radničke klase iz Istočnog u Zapadni Berlin. Izgradnja  45 kilometara barijere oko tri zapadna sektora počela je u nedelju, 13. avgusta, 1961. u Istočnom Berlinu. Barijeru su izgradili istočnonemački vojnici i radnici (serija 6). Tako je ograda od bodljikave žice podignuta, a kasnije i zamenjena pravim zidom. Mnoge porodice su naprasno bile odvojene a stanovnici odsečeni od svojih poslova i šansi za finansijski prosperitet. Zapadni Berlin je postao izolovana enklava na neprijateljskoj teritoriji. Cela dužina granice između Istočne i Zapadne Nemačke je bila zatvorena zidovima, minskim poljima i drugim preprekama.

Pogledajmo sad poziciju sekundarnog Meseca-narod (kreće se 1º za 1 mesec) Nemačke za trenutak kada je počela gradnja Berlinskog zida. Uočavamo da se radi upravo o 20º Ovna, što opet „proziva“ osu 20º Ovna-20º Vage! Ovo je ujedno i slika naroda u nekoj vrsti „pada“, što je izgradnja zida i imala za cilj...

SSSR

Osvrnimo se sad i na sekundarnu (kreće se 1º za 1 godinu) osu 3-9 (susedi-inostranstvo) horoskopa Boljševičke Rusije (07.11.1917., 10:00, Petrograd, Russia, Asc 26º Škorpiona) za 13. avgust, 1961., budići da je SSSR imao indirektnu vezu u nastanku Berlinskog zida.   Nalazimo da ova osa ide upravo preko 20º Vage-20º Ovna, što jeste osa koja unutar Zodijaka oslikava Berlin! Svemu dodajem i natalnu poziciju Meseca (ruski narod) na 20º Lava iz karte Boljševičke Rusije koji isto podržava osu 20º Ovna-20º Vage (Berlin), što konačno, bi i bila  slika ruske „umešanosti“ u izgradnji Berlinskog zida.

„Tear down this wall“

U svom čuvenom govoru, 12. juna, 1987. godine, u Zapadnom Berlinu, američki predsednik Ronald Reagan je „prozvao“ sovjetskog lidera Mikhaela Grobacheva čuvenom rečenicom „Tear down this wall“ („Srušite ovaj zid“). Tog dana u diurnalu (dnevni horoskop) rađenim za Berlin, Reagan je imao Sunce na 20º Blizanaca, dok  njegova natalna osa 1-7 ide preko 20º Strelca-20º Blizanaca. Sve ovo podržava harmoničnim aspektima osu 20º Ovna-20º Vage. Sve ovo jeste slika „uspešnog poziva“ koji je Reagan uputio sovjetima, i to upravo iz Berlina.

Reagan i Gorbachev su se prvi put sreli na čuvenom samitu u Reykjaviku, 11. oktobra, 1986., osam meseci pre Reaganovog govora u Berlinu. Tada je osa mesečevih čvorova išla preko 20º Ovna (Severni čvor - budućnost) - 20º Vage (Južni čvor - prošlost), preko ose koja oslikava u Zodijaku Berlin!  Još je ovo bio znak pored puta...

Berlinski zid je srušen 09. novembra, 1989. Hladan rat je i okončan upravo zahvaljujući sovjetskom lideru, Gorbachevu, i Nemačka je ponovo ujedinjena 03. oktobra, 1990.

Prva žena kancelarka

Danas, Nemačkom vlada prva žena kancelarka u istoriji ove zemlje. Naravno, radi se o Angeli Merkel koja ovu zemlju uspešno predvodi već skoro punu deceniju.  Zanimljive su sekundarne progresije horoskopa nove, ujedinjene Nemačke (03.10.1990., 12:00, Bonn, Asc 7º Strelca) za trenutak njenog dolaska na vlast, 21. novembra, 2005. Tada je upravo sekundarna osa IC-MC (teritorija-vlast u zemlji) išla preko 20º Ovna-20º Vage što sad već sasvim sigurno ukazuje na značaj ove ose po ovu zemlju!

Sedmi Uran-Pluton kvadrat

Poslednji kvadrat Urana i Plutona, sedmi po redu, dogodiće se 17. marta, 2015. godine. Ovaj kvadrat ide preko 15º Ovna-15º Jarca i  aktiviraće sedmi energetski centar (čakru) koji vezujemo za planetu Saturn. Kako je osa 20º Ovna-20º Vage praktično osa Saturna (pad i egzaltacija) onda je zanimljivo pogledati i kartu za ovaj događaj jer će upravo Ascendent u tom trenutku (posmatrano za Grinič, slika za ceo svet) biti postavljen baš na 20º Strelca, što je i Ascendent Ronalda Reagana, i što će podržati osu 20º Ovna-20º Vage (Berlin). Možemo naslutiti da bi Nemačka mogla sa lakoćom preuziti neku važnu ulogu u svetu budući da i sama Angela u svom natalnom horoskopu ima Mesec (nemački narod) na 15º Vodolije, što će graditi sekstil sa Uranom sa 15º Ovna i polusekstil sa Plutonom sa 15º Jarca. Ostaje da vidimo kakvu će to ulogu na sebe preuzeti Angela Merkel što će se konačno odraziti i na sam nemački narod... Svakako možemo očekivati da će uloga biti centralna, „kraljevska“ (15º)...
